The code for this program is based on the equation provided in API 14b, "Offshore Safety Systems":

Inputs

Temperature is in Farenheit, range is -20F to 300F

Initial Pressure is in psig. Range is 0 psi to 10,000 psi.

Final Pressure is in psig. Range is 0 psi to 10,000 psi. Note the final pressure must be great than or equal to the initial pressure

Volume is the amount of gas space, in cubic feet. In deepwater applications, the SSSV may be closed, then the tubing above the SSV partially loaded with Methanol to reduce the volume to be pressured and reduce the test length. The volume in this case is the remaining gas volume after the methanol has been pumped into the well.

Initial value of gas gravity is .6 (air = 1.0). Gas gravity must be between 0.55 and 1.10.

Initial value of CO2 is 0%. Range is 0-80%.

Initial value of H2S is 0%.  Range is 0-80%.

Initial value of N2 is 0%. Range is 0-100%.

The sum of CO2, H2S and N2 must be less than 100%. The sum of CO2 and H2S must be less than 80%.

Note: The program calculates z factors for the 2 pressures.
